SmartLab 2.8.7 features new gamification triggers for users to earn even more engagement points towards community specific leaderboards. New settings for administrators improve visibility and user engagement in the resources. SmartLab’s new language framework allows for multiple interface translations and tone of voice customisations. The new adaptive learning mode for creating personalised self- and peer-learning experiences has been further improved. This release also resolves known bugs and provides general functional improvements for users and administrators.
SmartLab’s new adaptive learning mode features personalised learning playlists based on user’s own preferences and progress as well as suggested colleagues to connect with based on shared interests and learning focus.
Gamification
New gamification triggers now allow users to earn even more engagement points, which are then reflected in community specific leaderboards.
Resources
Users are able to star-rate resources and let other colleagues know how useful they are. Administrators are able to highlight important resources to users by pinning them to the top of the page. A new PDF viewer improves the way users can view resources.
Timeline
New administrator options to support tailoring the look & feel of the SmartLab timeline with more custom icon settings as well as progress dependent user notifications and nudges for apps.
Widgets
The “new for you” and “popular content” widgets on the SmartLab Dashboard have been upgraded to provide better and personalised content suggestions to users.
Reporting
A range of improvements were made for administrators to better filter and create community specific reports and for facilitator to more easily access and export survey results in the TrendCompass decision app.
Language support
SmartLab’s new language framework allows for multiple translations of the interface and customisations of wording depending on the audiences.
The next release of SmartLab will include our new SnapShot app to simply turn content, media, remote controlled presentations and SmartLab decision apps into outcome-driven workshop flows with step by step for guiding participants through the process. Additionally, SmartLab is getting a new API-driven engine that will see a range of gradual experience improvements to the decision apps and other areas of SmartLab over the coming months.
